Lauren Ash-Morgan is the Founding Co-Artistic Director of the upcoming theatre company Speech of Fire and served as the Artistic Director for Seoul Shakespeare Company (SSC) from 2014 to 2019 having been a member of the board and an actor member of SSC from 2011. As the Artistic Director for SSC she was also the costume designer and set designer for the production as well as the composer/music director and as the text coach. However, she mostly directed from within the actors' ensemble, during her last year she began her career as a director (and lighting designer) in the SSC's King Lear.
