Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift is an American country and pop singer/songwriter. The stories of Taylor Swift's songs are about the heartache of a young girl. Swift was interested in music since a young stage of her life. She swiftly rose through in the ranks, beginning with roles in children's theater and eventually performing in front of a large crowd. Swift in 2011, at the age of 11, performed The Star-Spangled Banner during a Philadelphia 76ers' basketball game. The year after that she started writing songs of her own. Swift got the inspiration to compose her own songs by the music of country genre such as Shania Twain or the Dixie Chicks. Swift moved from Pennsylvania together with her parents, in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to reaching out to label representatives from the country genre.
